Fits tight and perfect, grippy, feels very good in the hand. No need to shell out $50 for a silicone skin, just get this one. You're going to be very happy you did.

Good:
1.The grip is good and chances are that the ipad will not slip from your hands.
Bad:
1. There is a circular cut to display the apple logo, which allows the dust particle accumulate on the edges. Surprisingly the picture displayed on amazon doesn't have the circular cut.
2. It doesnt work with apple dock, so if you have apple dock then you have to remove the cover and then use it. Removing and putting it back is pain.

We went through at least 10 cases and screen protectors for the iPads in the house. Some are great, others not.

This is a great buy, and my personal favorite. Let's break it down really fast for would-be purchasers:

Pros

Fit: Fits snug and perfect, all ports easily accessible, hole present for speakers, moulded perfect for all buttons.

Material: Great! A little more rubbery than most silicone cases, so this is like a cross between a hard case and a soft case. The material grips well, but isn't "sticky". This helps it sit on legs or a stand better, but isn't so rubbery as to be annoying.

Look: Great! The semi-clear material allows you to keep that apple aesthetic while protecting the iPad. This is the best looking case we found. It is a very snug fit and is rather thin, so you get protection without adding a lot of bulk.

Screen protector: CHECK IT OUT! We went through four brands of screen protectors. Anyone who has tried knows this can be tricky. They get bubbles, lint can get under them, and they're a pain to apply. This one was THE BEST. It went on fast and easy, and looks perfect. It was the only one to do this. (see tips below)

Cost: A GREAT Value

Cons

None that we can tell. The model I got has a hole cut out for the Apple logo. This could result in scratching in the future, but I'm not sure that's a big concern.

Tips for a perfect screen protector application:

To get the best application, clean your iPad and work surface well with a damp lint-free cloth. Use canned air to spray off any add'l lint. Apply the screen protector SLOWLY from the home button end upward, removing the backing as you go to minimize lint/trapped air. Once it's in place, use a credit card and/or cotton swab to patiently brush out any air. Do this BEFORE removing the top protective layer, since the removal of air can scratch the film if you do it after the upper protective layer is peeled off. Look things over carefully with the iPad turned off. If there is any lint or dust trapped, NOW is the time to peel the layer up and remove them. It is impossible to do this after both protective films are removed, and you will ruin the screen protector. If things look good, very slowly peel off the top layer, making sure not to pull too hard so as to allow air back under the screen protector. Viola - with a little patience you'll have a perfect application! Do you need this? YES! One of our iPads has lived in a relatively tame home office only environment. It has never been dropped or anything, and there are some minor scratching. Whatever Apple - this spendy toy NEEDS screen protection.
I purchased this case from Amazon because of the low price and to give me some time to find a better one for travel. The fit and grip that this case provides are great. It doesn't provide that much protection from drops or anything major, but I use it around the house and it's perfect. The biggest benefit in my opinion is the added grip that the hard silicon feeling material gives. If You're typing with the iPad on your leg it stays in place much better than without it.

If you are putting the iPad in a briefcase with other stuff this case might not be the best, but for casual use it's perfect.

Rating:
When I first ordered this case, I didn't pay any attention for the fact that it is made out of silicone. So it is a soft(rubbery) case. I've gone to Fry's, Micro Center, Best Buy, and Apple Stores but I couldn't really find one that I particularly like. I wanted something like Speck case for macbooks, which are hard cases. But when I saw the deal Amazon had for this case at $9.95 (original retail price $39), I though I may as well try it out. From the pictures, it looks like a hard case. But when I did receive it, I found out that it's a soft case. I was really disappointed.

BUT (a big but heh), once I manage to fit it to my iPad which fits snugly. I ended up liking it and I was so glad that I had the case. The gloss of the silicone makes it look very chic. The design in the back is quite nice as well. I like the transparency of it. You still can see the apple logo in the back. And the best part of it is it fits so well that it doesn't seem to add much thickness to the iPad itself. It makes the iPad grips better in your hands.

Although it may not give the maximum protection if you drop it. It does give enough protection to the back if the iPad which is the part that scratches the most. The glass part of the iPad (which is the same glass as iPhone) is very durable itself. So, in my opinion the case gives enough protection for it to be light and easy to handle. You may want to consider to buy an iPad sleeve if you travel with it a lot. Other than that, I think this case works and looks fantastic.

PROS: chic, snugly fit, doesn't add much thickness to the iPad itself, looks great and feels great, easy to put on and take off
CONS: soft case (which can also be good), doesn't have front coverage/protection

ps. I uploaded several pics to show what the case looks like when it's on the iPad. The pics also show how it fits around the volume control and the charging dock. You can see how the iPad doesn't look bulky at all with the case on.

I like this stand -
I had some questions when I bought so I'll try and answer them for others...
The stand is a combo of aluminum and plastic, with a small amount of rubber.
The big round thing in the middle is a button you must press to adjust the angle the button is made of plastic.
The back leg is plastic.
the little aluminum looking thing in the center is actually aluminum.
most of the plastic has a nice coating that looks nice.
Black and aluminum perfectly compliment the ipad.
The bottom of each leg has rubber so it won't slip.
It's actually pretty sturdy.
three legs is almost always better than 4. this is something you could use in bed on an uneven surface.

Folds up for travel.

ok now for the one bad thing...
If you use it for the ipad, the ipad will touch the aluminum piece towards the center.
A little piece of black felt or rubber right in the center would have been great there.

overall a great product, great value for around $20

the most versatile, compact laptop stand and slick stand around. If you use a detached full-sized keyboard, you can set your laptop monitor up high for better posture and vision. Or you can use it low like a regular stand for cooling. It also works great with the iPad and my Kindle. Plus it folds down to a sleek very portable package.

Review by Lelouch vi Britannia for splash Masque Screen Protector Films Clear (Invisible) for Apple iPad (3-Pack)
Rating:
The other reviewers are right, this item is super easy to install, and leaves minimal air bubbles. The instructions are easy to read and follow. As long as you clean the screen really well with the included piece of cloth, align the screen protector as it should go (actually easy to do), and use the included rubber squeegee to remove air bubbles; the air bubbles will be minimal on perhaps even none. I was left with very few, and small, air bubbles, which only took 2 days to go away.

For the price, this is a great bargain for 3 screen protectors. In the past I've used ZAGG screen protectors, and have nothing but good things to say about those too; however, Splash now offers something that's easy to install, leaves no air bubbles and isn't messy at all to install (those that use ZAGG products know what I mean). The other benefit is that this screen protector isn't as thick as those that use a liquid to install, so it fits into any iPad case just as if no screen protector were on it (I've tested the Apple iPad case, a Vaja case and a Belkin clear case - so it's a safe assumption).

The only negative I can think of is that this screen protector makes it a bit harder to use a Pogo stylus; the stylus doesn't slide as well as it does on the unprotected screen or even on the ZAGG scree protector. It doesn't make it harder at all to slide a finger across a screen - just the stylus, and it's likely due to the stylus being oil free (unlike the human skin).

Ive tried a few of stands, this is by far the most portable, best designed stand ive used. the angles are good for the ipad, and sturdy enough for my macbook pro 15 (provides good airflow as you can see)

These are perfect for the iPad. It works great through them, no issues. You cannot tell it's on the iPad, looks like you are viewing the actual glass screen.

The three pack is great because it takes three tries by the time you can get one on with no dust falling on the screen but that is not the manufacturer's fault. I just need a cleaner office I guess.

I have tried a lot of screen protectors for both the IPad and IPhone and this is one of the worst I have used. Try as I might I could not get this thing to lie flat without voids under the surface. It was particularly bad around the edges even after multiple cleanings and the use of a dust-off spray. I used all three and still could not get them to work. I had a pack or the cheap crystal protectors ($2.00) lying around, couldn't be worse than these things, so I applied one of them under the same conditions. It went on perfectly the first time, no voids, no bubbles. Just goes to show, you don't always get what you pay for.

I received this product much quicker than expected. The first film had a ton of bubbles that I could not remove, but this was my fault, the area I was in had a bit of dust in the area. I then went on to the second film and it installed flawlessly. No bubbles, no problems. I am very happy with this product and will most likely order another set to have on hand.

I bought this stand through ebay via China because it was not available thru Amazon. It took about 3 weeks to finally arrive, but it was worth the wait! This stand is adjustable to several positions -- not just two like other stands. It is very sturdy for typing, as well as other actions (i.e. games). And it looks great, too! I recommend this stand to anyone who has purchased an iPad.

I bought this stand through ebay via China because it was not available thru Amazon. It took about 3 weeks to finally arrive, but it was worth the wait! This stand is adjustable to several positions — not just two like other stands. It is very sturdy for typing, as well as other actions (i.e. games). And it looks great, too! I recommend this stand to anyone who has purchased an iPad.

Easy to install.. Just make sure that you clean the surface very well.

At such a low price, I think its a very good deal...

I've owned this stand for about 2 weeks now at work and the results have been fantastic... I don't always want to have the ipad in my hands if I'm working on my computer and just using it to listen to music, so I place it on the stand and it doesn't shift or displace if you bump it.. the lip-holders have rubber surfaces that grip your ipad in place. And the looks of the stand is so much more attractive then any of those other cheap alternatives out there. It folds up very easily and compact to fit in any carrying case. The Circle up top is actually a button that locks or releases the base and legs to set the tripod into several different angles, so you can view your ipad in the best angle to see it clearly. I'm very impressed with the design.. I'm actually thinking about getting a second one just to keep as a back-up through the years.

No matter how carefully you follow the instructions, and no matter what additional measures you take (e.g., creating negative air flow around the iPad with your kitchen cooktop's exhaust fan), it's impossible to eliminate every speck of dust, dandruff, cat fur or whatever. But you can get pretty darn close.

To get the best possible results, clean the screen using the included cloth and -- this is key -- then hold the iPad at an angle from a bright light to reveal anything you'd miss by simply looking down at the screen. Preparation is critical, so don't rush.

When you start to apply the protector, don't peel back more than an inch of the "blue" backing because the exposed face is a magnet for anything and everything in the air. The less exposed area at any given time, the less chance of something getting between the screen and the protector. Trying to remove a speck after it's on the protector is a difficult hassle because you're likely to brush something else on in the process. Worse, wiping the face-down side of the protector seems to diminish its ability to cling to the screen.

As you work your way down the screen, continue to peel back no more than an inch at a time. Use a credit card to squeegee out bubble as they appear. It's easier and more effective to remove them an inch at a time than after covering up half the screen.

Squeegee out any remaining bubbles -- or as many as you can -- before removing the second, "orange" backing. That way, the backing is absorbing the credit card scratches rather than the protector.

A bright light, patience, time and no caffeine jitters are all success factors.

Good luck!

I buy items manufactured by speck very often and their products are usually well made and perfect for my iphone, ipod touch, etc. Unfortunately, I did not get the same result with this screen protector! It was so difficult to put on and I have put on many screen protectors with no problem. I used BOTH screen protectors and was unsuccessful. I could not get the bubbles out with the first one and then when I went to use the second one, it would not separate from the orange film that is attached and I ended up removing the entire thing. I was then unable to get it back on without having the same problem with bubbles that I did with the first one. I'm extremely disappointed and cannot believe I wasted all this money! Now I have to find something else to protect my screen, probably will just get a sleeve to put it in when i'm not using it.

This is a terrible and overpriced item. It is impossible to apply properly. I followed all instructions and even then it doesn't fall evenly on the screen. Lots of bubbles all over. The plastic film is not strong or thick enough to hold its shape during the application process. It tends to stick together (similar to thick scotch tape whose ends stick together if you pull a large piece out). Ended up trashing the item. Save your money - there are better alternatives available here, for a fraction of the price.

I'm not entirely sure why folks are having problems with this product - but I suspect that the previous reviewer who said to view the video on the manufacturer's web site hit the nail on the head. The instructions on the package are inadequate.

The anti-glare properties are a much needed change to the standard screen, and the feel is actually an improvement. Instead of slick glass, it's satin smooth. But you do need to take a few minutes to install the protector correctly, exactly as shown in the 2:59 minute video. I viewed the video through once before opening the package, then did my installation while it played through again. Didn't even have to watch it all the way through the second time. Total installation? Less than five minutes.

The video doesn't emphasize making sure that the film is square to the screen so it doesn't touch the iPad sides, which can result in the edge of the film being slightly raised and create a `bubble.' That didn't particularly bother me as the edges are inside my case anyway - but it might bother others, so a bit of patience and caution is advised.

If you have an iPad and want to reduce glare, improve the screen `feel,' and protect that glass from things like jewelry - this one will do the trick nicely. Strongly recommended.

They send you two of these, because it's so difficult to install you will goof the first one up. On my first try, I ended up with bubbles that would not move no matter what I tried, peeling the film back and resetting didn't help. The second time I cleaned the screen with Windex and made certain that there was no contamination on the screen, and after about 15 - 20 minutes of painstaking work, I got it on with no bubbles. You must work in a *very* clean environment because the slightest speck will cause a bulge in the film and form what appears to be an air bubble, but is a permanent defect. The sticky side of the film will ensure that any dust or hair is there for good. You can either live with it, or start all over with a new piece (at $12 a try). There is no doubt that the film cuts reflections, I was able to use the iPad outdoors (in the shade) - much easier to see than with the glossy surface. The screen doesn't look quite as razor sharp, but it's the trade off to cut reflections. The contrast didn't seem to be badly affected (blacks still look good). Off-axis viewing seemed fine.

Speck has gone for the bare-bones instructions, but I think this is a mistake. With a few more cautions and details about performing a proper installation, I probably would have got it on the first try instead of wasting money and becoming very frustrated with the product.

They send you two of these, because it’s so difficult to install you will goof the first one up. On my first try, I ended up with bubbles that would not move no matter what I tried, peeling the film back and resetting didn’t help.
